Greyhounds are exceptionally wonderful house pets, they bring so much joy into our lives that we just cannot share them enough with others. Please consider adopting a retired racer if you can.

Chaz and Mindy November 26th, 2006

Chaz and his oldest and dearest Friend Mindy...the gal who showed him the ropes when we first adopted him, like how it was ok to walk around a house.....and how to bark :-)

Chaz adopted our family first about 5 years ago, his racing name was Basic Fact, Sire Knuckles Up, Dam Whisper Light. Chaz is a brindle male and raced until he was 4 years old. We have never been able to find any info on his littermates so if anyone knows of these pups please let us know. Zeus Lightning, Win Areba, Harlows Way, Scarlet Sage and Ivy Tower. Chaz is an amazing boy, super intelligent, loving and the inspiration for us to promote adoption any chance we get. He really thinks he is a "person".....he sits his bum on the couch and his hind legs crossed and raised off the floor.....he does this in the van as well and he will even do this to company and sits right on their laps !!!!

Quade adopted our family 6 years ago, he was three and had been in a home for a year prior. His Racing name is KGB Pawnee, he is a red brindle. His Sire is Bedtime Bear and his Dam is Amazing Tracy . He had an opportunity to meet his Sire in 2003, Quade was 5 and his Dad was 10. Bear and Quade share an almost identical personality, easy going, gentle and sweet. We also have been contacted by Quade's Brother KGB Choctaw, a beautiful black boy who lives in Pennsylvania and who shares that same personality. Quade has been a therapy dog for St. John Ambulance for 2 years now, Quade's best Friend Ethran passed away April 3rd, 2007.
